NURSERY WORKSHOP

Yayyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Casalina is delighted to welcome you to a

NURSERY AND PROPAGATION COURSE

Why this training course?

For regenerative agroforestry projects to flourish, well-designed nurseries adapted to local contexts are needed. At Casalina, we are launching a syntropy project to develop sustainable, productive and resilient agricultural models.

The aim of this training course is to learn how to design, set up and manage a low-budget nursery. We’ll also learn and practice different propagation techniques following the principles of permaculture.

👥 Who is it for?

This training course is for anyone curious to learn more about plant propagation, nursery design and the principles of permaculture.

Whether you are a beginner gardener, passionate about permaculture, thinking about switching careers, or simply looking for meaning and connections, you are more than welcome.

This means you don’t need previous experiences to join. If you are eager to learn, to work together and to enjoy a collective experience in tune with the rhythm of the earth and human relationships, this course is for you!

This training course is also aimed at those who wish to get involved in a social project that fights against rural exodus and desertification. By participating, you are supporting a locally-based collective dynamic that cares for the earth as much as it does for people.

🤲 A collective and lively learning experience

In this training course, we invite you to become part of an enthusiastic and caring community, where listening, solidarity and cooperation are at the heart of the experience.

We believe that we are all on a journey through life, and that everyone has something to share and learn. That is why the training is based on a non-formal educational approach that values collective intelligence, individual experience and mutual learning.

Here, the happiness of each individual contributes to the happiness of the group — and vice versa. Together, we will create a joyful, attentive and inclusive learning environment, where we cultivate plants as much as we cultivate human connections.

🤝 Aurélie

As a former social worker, Aurélie has been exploring the links between permaculture and social change for several years. For three years, she was in charge of the community garden of the Maison Verte et Bleue in Brussels. There, she developed and maintained the garden, led workshops and of course, worked the land. Since February, she is on a french compagnonnage at Les Alvéoles in Drome, France, where she continues to train as a nurserywoman and specializes in designing and growing forest gardens. At Casalina, she shares her human, grounded and socially engaged approach.
