SYNTROPY LEVEL 1

Yayyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Casalina is delighted to welcome you to a

FOUNDATIONS & PRINCIPLES OF SYNTROPIC FARMING

COURSE GIVEN BY FELIPE AMATO FOUNDER OF TERRA-NETWORK

👥 Who is it for?

Casalina is launching a new syntropic farming project—an important step in our journey toward regenerative agriculture. This training marks the concrete beginning: together, we will plant the first two syntropic systems on site. One will focus on fruit tree production, the other on cereals. It’s a unique opportunity to learn by doing, while contributing to the growth of a meaningful collective project.

👥 Who is it for?

This training is open to anyone curious to discover the syntropic approach—its philosophical, theoretical, and practical foundations.
No prior knowledge is required—just a desire to understand and explore a regenerative form of agriculture, deeply connected to the dynamics of living systems.

🤲 A collective and lively learning experience

In this training course, we invite you to become part of an enthusiastic and caring community, where listening, solidarity and cooperation are at the heart of the experience.

We believe that we are all on a journey through life, and that everyone has something to share and learn. That is why the training is based on a non-formal educational approach that values collective intelligence, individual experience and mutual learning.

Here, the happiness of each individual contributes to the happiness of the group — and vice versa. Together, we will create a joyful, attentive and inclusive learning environment, where we cultivate plants as much as we cultivate human connections.

Felipe Amato

Felipe Amato was born in São Paulo and holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from PUC-SP. His exploration of autonomy techniques began in 2003, encompassing areas such as natural building, water treatment and sanitation, food production, and more.
In pursuit of these techniques, Felipe became a farmer in 2007, initially producing organic and agroecological vegetables. In 2010, after meeting Swiss farmer and researcher Ernst Götsch, he transitioned to syntropic farming—a regenerative approach that minimizes reliance on external inputs like fertilizers and even irrigation.
From 2012 to 2014, Felipe served as course instructor and coordinator of the agroecology program at Escola da Terra, a free school in Pedro de Toledo (SP) dedicated to promoting ecological and sustainable practices.
In 2015, he had his first experience with European climates and ecosystems. Since then, he has focused on adapting the principles he developed in Brazil to temperate and Mediterranean regions. After relocating to Portugal in 2017, he has worked on projects across France, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Ireland, and Portugal.
Felipe currently offers technical assistance in syntropic farming to both commercial and non-commercial producers, while maintaining his own farm in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo. He is also the founder of Terra Network, an organization that provides training and technical assistance to farms and regenerative projects.
